out of the frying pan into the fire

linda's handless maiden has been haunting me. i didn't recognize her at first because i was thinking about capture by pirates and the questionable success of an escape that lands you lost in a labyrinth. but there she is (though it says something about the sort of stories i write that her hand are only bound not severed.)

what writing looks like

things are pretty quiet right now.
i am just starting new projects so everything is new and vague. hard to talk about and even harder to photograph. but after neil gaiman posted this i thought i would show you what my first drafts look like.
i usually write in pencil (the same staedtler lumograph HB pencils i use to draw with) on lined paper. i love stamping the date in red ink on each page with a library style date due stamp.
