the view from July

It is July and everything is growing. Our cloudy garden is starting to produce tomatoes. we've gone blueberry picking and sprouted alfalfa seeds for summer sandwiches.
my manuscript is also growing, this month I passed page 300. Currently, I am writing the climax and I can finally see my way clearly to the end.

the story is leaking into everything, like this collage for the cover of my current moleskin. (they make them in colors now!)
And how is the writing in this first draft? as awkward and promising as my son's handwriting.
